Design Visualisation - Board

For our final assignment for DV, we were tasked to make a display stand in our given site in our site analysis. I decided to go with a left vs right brain. My chosen theme and book was graffiti. My idea was to make a graffiti based left vs right brain themed design.

Overall, this assignment has allowed me to understand how to create a proper presentation board and allowed me to understand proper drawing skills and how to lay out my ideas on a board.

 

Design Visualisation - Site analysis

For our 3rd assignment for DV, we were tasked to analyse a given site. We were given the Syopz area in taylors. This assignment has given me insight on what are the things that are required when analysing a site. It has also allowed me to build team working skills.

Design Visualisation - Drawings

For our second DV assignment, we were tasked to draw 1 plan and detail drawing and 2 elevations and sections each. We were tasked to draw 2 objects in the 6 different drawing perspectives. This assignment has allowed me to learn new drawing skills and allowed me to understand the different perspectives on the drawings

Design Visualisation - 8 Sketches

For our first Design Visualisation assignment, we were told to produce 8 sketches. The 8 things we had to sketch were Detail, One point Perspective, Two point Perspective, Object Projection, Rendering, Artistic Representation of a famous building, Body part and Geometric Projection.

From these sketches I have learnt the basics of sketching, different styles and ways to sketch. It has helped me hone my observatory skills and my sketching skills. It also allowed me to brush up and practice my drawing skills.

EPC - Mural

For our second and final assignment, we were tasked to look at 3 types of murals in a place of our choosing. We chose Penang's mural made by Ernest Zacharevic. We chose 'Boy on Bike', 'Little Children on Bike' and 'Reaching Up'. We were asked to take pictures and research on their backgrounds and how they communicate EPC concepts.

EPC - Blog

For our EPC assignment, we were tasked to make a blog based on a specific location of our choosing. Me and my team decided to go to Klang to use as our place of interest. We were asked to research on its culture, history and food. Below is our link to the blog.

Culture and Civilisation - Postcards

For our final Culture and Civilisation project we were tasked to make postcards. We were to go to a place and take pictures. I chose to go to a Petaling Street in KL. These were my post cards.
